73-75 Mombasa, Kenya

 Jambo!! We were only scheduled for two days in Mombasa, but we ended up with 3 because there was an outbreak of cholera in Zanzibar. The climate here is hot and humid. The population is mostly Muslim; we were here for Eid al-Fitr. There are mountains, the ocean, beaches, resorts, amazing flora and fauna, marine life, parks, tropical forests, and poverty.

We went to a resort for a cooking class in Swahili cuisine. The restaurant was in a cave.

Finally, we toured the grounds for a nature walk!
